Your Invitation

Learning Martial arts at Satori is fun and provides lifelong benefits. You may think it will be a little intimidating jumping right into a class.

So, we invite you to come in with our a 2 weeks classes with no obligation to join.

We will even fit you out in your own uniform to get started.

You will learn some basic skills and we can answer all your questions.

OUR classes

LITTLE RONIN

4-7 YEARS

Little Ronin is designed to develop not just motor skills, but social skills, focus and confidence. Children are kept motivated and enthusiastic by gaining ‘stripes’ while allowing  them progress at their own pace.

SAMURAI

8-13 YEARS

Children develop advanced physical and mental skills in our  Samurai programme. Using the latest training methods, students learn martial arts and gain confidence and improving their physical fitness. The focus is on developing a positive mindset and performing at their personal best.

TRADITIONAL AND SPORT KARATE

TEEN/ADULT

For older teens and adults, the Traditional Karate program is designed to develop physical and mental skills to help students face life challenges. The focus is on positive attitude, determination and perseverance, and the development of martial arts skills based on the traditional Shukokai Karate style.

Yaught by the Matayoshi family since the early 1900’s in Okinawa, rich in interesting history, while improving your hand/eye coordination, wrist and grip strength, all over body strength and conditioning and its a unique and fascinating passion.
The traditional Okinawan weapons we teach are the bo, the sai, the tunkwa (tonfa), nunchaku, the eku, and the kama.

Classes Run On Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturdays

5-7yrs Tuesday and Thursday 4.30pm and Saturdays at 9.30am

8yrs -13yrs Tuesday and Thursday 5.00pm and Saturdays at 10.00am

Teens & Adults – Tuesday and Thursday 7.00pm and Saturday 8.30am

Kobudo Saturday at 7.45am
